Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest.

Who knew that sweet potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic salt could taste so good?

These sweet potato fries are baked to a perfect crispiness on the outside with a soft middle.  These are a cinch to throw together and put in the oven while you work on making the rest of your dinner.

Not only are theses super easy to make but they are also so good for you.  Did you know that sweet potatoes are pound for pound the most nutrient enriched food in your supermarket?

Well now that you know, you won’t feel as bad going for seconds…

Baked Sweet Potato Fries

  • 1 sweet potato per person
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Cut potatoes into like shapes and sizes-the smaller and thinner they are, the quicker they will cook.  Place cut potatoes onto a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.  Toss all the potatoes (I just use my hands) to make sure they are all evenly coated and then evenly space on baking sheet.  Bake for 30 minutes and then flip the fries and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes depending on desired crispiness.
